Local rippers – Riley Laing

Riley Laing is a super cool grom from the Central Coast who loves charging big waves. I have been making him boards for a while now and he is quickly outgrowing each quiver as he improves out of sight. It’s rewarding working with a kid so talented and gives great feedback on my grom board models including The Silent Savage grom board.

 

North Shelly Boardrider Riley loves surfing local reefs and venturing out the local bombies with his dad, so we’ve been making plenty of step ups for the bigger days and trips to Indonesia. He competitively surfs a 5’6 or 5’7 grom model with signature yellow fluro rail sprays. He recently took out the WA Ripcurl Gromsearch against much older competition. This kid has a huge future and I look forward to making him boards as he progresses.
