“Shot bru. Your boards are absolutely savage. Best Boards EVER!”
Justin S, NSW.
“I finally grabbed myself a Joistik Cab Sav II and can honestly say it is by far the best groveler I’ve ever ridden. Is it wrong to turn up at the beach hoping it’s only 2-3ft cause it’s all I want to ride? Hell no! This board is so much fun that I don’t care if the waves are small. Nick was great to deal with and I look forward to ordering another Joistik to add to my quiver.”
Chris P, France.
“Nick doing a great job . These boards rip and are fatal waves weapons! Thank’s mate for the “machines” you provided to me.”
James K, NSW.
“I’ve got 2 custom boards from Nick and couldn’t be happier. Working off my height, weight and what I was after with my boards he was able to deliver exactly what I wanted. If you are after someone to shape you a board to suit your individual needs then Nick is your man.”
Jason, H, QLD.
“I would recommend Joistick to anyone that is looking for a professional company that provides epic boards to suit all conditions. Nick has a range that really helped me on my last surf trip to the Banyak Islands in Indo, some days were solid and the boards felt amazing.”
Justin B, NSW.
“Picked up the sweetest Cab Sav from Nick just over a year ago. Everyone raved about this groveller but had to try it myself. Unreal and super stoked! Top notch!!! Nothing beats a custom from this guy. Thanks Nick!”
Damien G, QLD.
“Every board from Nick has been amazing ! Actually talking to the guy who’s making your board is a must.”

“The CabSav2 is the queen of the grovelers without any doubts. Nick’s customs are never-ending stoke providers”

“I have been riding Nicks board for a while After being persuaded to try them by one of my best mates a few years back. Since my first board I have really really enjoyed working with Nick. Protag is still a favourite of mine when it pumps. I have to say the Bombay Blues at the moment is getting riden a lot and my favourite. Up to 5ft it really is so much fun riding as a thruster or a quad. Loose and drivey, the curve on this model is definitely one to try as every time I go for a surf I feel bad for my other two boards as I always pick this one out of the van. I’m riding a 5ft 10, 19 1/2, 2 7/16 and weigh about 85kg. What ever Nick does in that shaping bay is quality. Just received a step up from the Bombay Blue as I love it that much and trying it out when it’s a little bigger. Take advantage of his offer on the Bombay blue at the moment as it’s something you NEED in your quiver.”
Luke H, NSW.
“I’ve been riding Nick’s Cab Sav for a little under a year now, and come out of the surf surprised every time I surf it. I ride this small wave ripper in 0-3ft small surf more often than not as a quad. Rather than only being super fun in weak junkie surf, I’ve had some top sessions in more punchy small wave conditions as well. Can’t recommend this board enough as your small wave groveller. I got this board as a custom from Nick, and I couldn’t fault his service. He listened to what I was after, and produced the goods. Just about to get in touch with him for the next one, so just a heads up Nick!”

“These boards are just getting better and better been riding the Renegade as my all rounder for a while now and letting Nick fine tune them as he goes. Seriously every board I get off him is faster than the last , great shaper”
Brad W, NSW.
“Picked up a new Bombay Blues from Nick at the end of 2017 after absolutely loving the Cab Sav II he did for me for the waves over summer. Nick’s boards just work…they do exactly what he says they will!! The 5’9” CSII is THE FUNNEST board I have ever ridden. Absolutely perfect for Sydney’s beachies, and I definitely surf more than I did now I own that board. Even when the conditions are marginal, the Cab Sav II still makes surfing fun. Having loved my first board so much, I doubled down and picked up the Bombay Blues in the Karboload tech. It’s hands down the best board I have owned for most conditions here on the Northern Beaches. Goes amazing in waves from 2 – 6 foot and the extra foam under the chest means I get more than a bag full of waves every time I surf. Given I’m a husband and Dad of 3 kids, making the most of every sessions is the key to the fun and this board is amazing at getting into waves. It’s also super nice under foot and surfs really well.”
Matt C, NSW.
“I have 3 of Nick’s boards now and have been impressed with all of them. Nick customises his models depending on your size and his calculations for me have been spot on. The Bombay Blues is my newest board and I’ve only been able to ride it a handful of times. But already I know it’s a great all round board. It has great drive and speed and holds the rail well. Is capable right from small surf right up to 6ft. Also I have an older model I got years ago I think it is an fb. I still ride this board on days when I want to muck around. I have looked after this board and it is still in great condition with hardly any indentations. An indication of the quality of Nick’s boards. I keep going back to Nick because I know they are always quality. My surfing has improved out of sight riding boards that are best suited for me.”
Patrick P, NSW.
“Been riding Nick’s boards for a while and the Cab Sav model is the one I’ve been riding the most, escpicially around Manly slop. Little nug of a board and easy to ride!”
