    THE SLIPPER

The Slipper model is a Down-the-line speedster, an insanely fast board which flies down the line and turns on a dime. The Slipper has incredible speed with pinpoint accuracy in the pocket. It can be ridden a fair bit shorter than your regular shortboard. It has a reverse-hip pin tail, a medium full rail and a flat evenly flowing rocker. The Slipper has a medium single to deep single-double concave, to vee off the tail. Perfect for the clean, smaller winter conditions the coast will be enjoying in between the bigger swells. They have to be ridden to be believed! The Slipper comes with 5 fin FCS fusion setup (to be surfed as a quad or thruster). You can check a epic review of the board here.

    THE S2 MODEL

The S2 is a classic keel fin, split tail fish. The S2 comes with a beak nose, flatter deck and full, pinched rails. This timeless outline results in speed and glide like you have never experienced before. In good down the line glassy waves the S2 keel fish is hard to beat for speed, drive and drawn out turns. The S2 twin fin paddles extremely well, can carry through the flats and drive through hollow sections. Ride the S2 classic keel fin for effortless glide and in the pocket trim. This board is fast and highly maneuverable in small hollow waves, and if it is pumping it allows you to draw unique lines. These S2 twin fins are very versatile and addictive fun. The S2 is a good board for beginners through to advanced surfers who want an all round board that is a super fun to ride. Glass on keel fins are available in wood or fibreglass. The S2 looks great with a resin tint and old school Joistik Surfboard’s logo. The S2 model is custom built to your unique dimensions. Watch the S2 being tested in super fun waves here.

    THE F1 MODEL

The Fusion 1 model (F1) is a fun, cruiser with a full, curvey outline. The F1 is ridden 6-8” shorter than your normal board, at least 2” wider and 1/8” or more thicker. The F1 has firmly tucked rails, a flat bottom to a panel vee out the back third, and ample foam-derived flotation. This enables the F1 to sail across the weakest of waves, or drive though sections and swing in the pocket, with single fin style. The F1 is easy to paddle allowing you to get into waves earlier and draw unique stylish lines. The Fusion model is available with a single fin box or with a 2:1 setup (single fin box and side plugs). This model looks great with a resin tint and old school Joistik Surfboard’s logo. The Fusion (F1) is custom built to your unique dimensions. Watch the F1 in action here.

    BIG WAVE MODELS

The Matador Series is designed with the big-wave realm in mind. Although the boards in this range are the standard designs for each particlar sphere of big wave riding, all guns/tow boards are custom designed for location and rider and tow boards more precisely designed around rider build, stance and wave type to be surfed. We have been testing all of these models with Carlos Burle, Dean Morrison and Keito Matsuoka and are super excited by the feedback. Get in touch if you want to order a big wave gun or tow board and I can customise to your specifications.

    M1

Our semi gun model with refined and tested rails, bottom curves and outlines for tackling your break when it’s well overhead. Rocker, rails, foils and bottom contours are tuned to wave location, as well as overall volume distribution. Your standard model features light single to double concave that fades off the tail into a light vee at the rear fin.Tube-tested in some of the best surf on the planet, the M1 is an essential addition to any serious surfer’s quiver.

    M2

The M2 is built according to wave type, location and rider specs. Various bottom contours may be incorporated such as double barrel concave to vee, or standard concave bottoms. Width, thickness and wide-point placement are appropriately added to your usual dimensions the bigger you go- there’s a lot more water moving from here on in!

    M3

Built to tackle the largest surf available to paddle into- tested and proven in the major big-wave locations the world over. Whilst vee bottoms have traditionally been considered the standard bottom for your “rhino chaser” gun, concaves are being incorporated in designs now. The M3 is built according to wave type, location and rider specs.

    M-TB

Built for riding cleaner, hollow waves, which are not necessarily as big as others but require the rider to tow as a result of the wave drawing up the reef with too much speed and volume to paddle. Concave bottoms are ultra-tuned and refined for the gnarliest waves on the planet. Fins and edge are brought further up the board and adjusted according to rider stance.

    M-TM

For towing into bigger waves it becomes necessary to adjust the outline to suit the riders stance and approach. In general the outline is modified to include a wider pod and re-positioned wide-point, with expert blending of deeper concave and rolled vee off the tail pod. Refined flatter rockers finely tuned with the rail line rocker produce a board that is incredibly fast with the right blend of stability and maneuverability at high speeds.
